The Faces Behind Ugly Dog Images

Ugly Dog Images is run by three legally trained photographers. Despite our lawyerly ways, we haven't been able to shake our love of photography and art. Located in the Nation's Capital, we find our inspiration from both the great works housed in the Smithsonian Museums as well as the more esoteric locales of "true" DC. Our work is unique -- we fuse formalist training with a funky modern aesthetic. You want traditional photos where everyone says "cheese" and smiles like mannequins? Sure, we can do those. But we'd rather take ones that show off your personality and spunk. And don't worry, we deal with bureaucrats all day, so we'll help you relax.

And we're sure you'll be happy with our work. Why? Because, frankly, we obsess constantly over the finer points of every image. For you, that means you get visual art professionals that know how to ensure that mistakes are not made during your photo shoot. How? As attorneys, we're hardwired to look for and correct problems before they start. And that's why, whenever possible, we'll scout locations before the day of the shoot, carry backup lenses and even cameras, and talk with you as long as is necessary before we start shooting to ensure that your pictures turn out just right.
